JULY 19, THE THIRD ANNUAL MALLING FAMILY GOLF OUTING
Please join us at the third annual Malling golf outing @ Twin Oaks Plantation course Covington Ky. Saturday July 19th. This outing benefits the Malling family of Anderson township. They had two sons in hospice with a rare degenerative neuro-muscular disorder that there is no cure. There father Tim has Parkinson's disease and may soon be unable to work. The family has had to take out multiple mortgages on there house to continually meet the needs of the family. Our goal is to pay off there house, so they would not lose this house specially equipped to take care of the boys. This outing, July 19 is a shotgun start with an 8 a.m. flight and a 1 pm flight. The cost is $ 100 per golfer. This includes lunch dinner golf soft drinks all day and 2 beer tickets. Plently of prizes, contest, silent auction items. Bands to play all day. JULY 19, ALPHA SCHOLARSHIP OPEN
The Alpha Scholarship Open is a major source of funding for the Delta Gamma Lambda Foundation. The 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation supports youth activities and awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors throughout Greater Cincinnati. ASO follows a four person best ball scramble format. Awards are presented to top teams in men, women, junior, co-ed, senior (60-69) and super senior (70+) divisions. The event includes additional hole contest and raffle prizes. Registration begins at 7am, with breakfast provided by Chick-Fil-A (Western Hills). Register before June 15th for discounted registration up to $100 per foursome. Registration after June 15 is $125 per golfer or $500 per foursome.  Father's Day is June 15th. Here we go Brownies!!! The South West Ohio Browns Backer clubs have again put together the 2nd Annual SW Browns Backer Golf Outing. Saturday July 26th, 12:00pm @ The Golf Center @ Kings Island. Cost this year is $60.00 per person. This includes 18 holes, cart, 2 drink tickets, lunch and a raffle ticket. JULY 29-30, HAMILTON CITY JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT
Twin Run and Potter's Park will host the Hamilton City Junior Golf Tournament July 29 and 30. The first round will be held at Twin Run on Tuesday, July 29 beginning at 10:00 a.m. The second round will be held at Potter's Park on Wednesday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. The tournament will consist of three age groups (12 & under, 13-15 and 16-18). The cost for the tournament is $60 per player and includes green fees and lunch for both rounds of the tournament and trophies for the first and second place finishers in each age division. AUGUST 2, 6TH ANNUAL MIKE BRYSON GOLF OUTING
On Saturday August 2nd we will have our 6th annual scramble at Flagg Springs Golf Course in California, KY, shotgun start @ 8:00 a.m. The price is $75 per person and includes 18 holes of golf with cart, special contest holes, lunch, buffet dinner, drinks and door prizes. There is a major raffle and split-the-pot after golf. Prizes are given for 1st and 2nd place as well as longest drive and closest to the pin for both men and women. AUGUST 2, 9TH ANNUAL GOLF GLOW BALL BENEFIT

Takes place at Robin's Nest in Harrison at 4:30.  Save the date - Registration forms will be sent in June.  Recipient Nominations - We are currently in the process of collecting nominations for this year’s recipient. We have a couple but want to remind all our loyal supporters to that we take nominations from anyone – so if you know someone who could benefit from our event please feel free to send us the information. We need a brief explanation of their medical issue, their family situation, their insurance/financial situation, etc. We review the nominations from all recipients and pick one we feel can use the help the most. As you can imagine, this is always a tough decision and we’d love to be able to help all the nominations, but being a smaller event we have to limit it to one.  Donations - We are also collecting donations for our raffles and silent auctions. As you know, these are important to the event in helping us raise the money. So if you can donate or know a business who might support us – please let us know. AUGUST 2-3, TWIN RUN CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
Twin Run will be hosting the Twin Run Club Championship on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3. Play on Saturday will begin at 10:00 a.m. and play on Sunday will begin at 11:00 a.m.  There will be a men's, senior (60+) and women's divisions, with each division divided into flights after the first round of the tournament. Women will play from the white tees, seniors will play from the blue tees and the men's division will play from the black tees. The entry fee for the tournament is $50 and includes lunch at the turn both days and gift certificates for the top 3 finishers of each flight in each division. The rate for each day of the tournament will be $25 to ride 18 holes and $20 to walk 18 holes. Call Twin Run at 868-5833 to sign up.

 

 

AUGUST 4, AMA/MRA/MAC GOLF CLASSIC AT LOSANTIFILLE

This year the Cincinnati chapter of the American Marketing Assn. teams up with the Great Lakes Chapter of the Marketing Research Assn. and the Manufacturers Agents of Cincinnati for a Monday afternoon golf outing at Losantiville Country Club in Pleasant Ridge. Lunch and dinner are included in the cost of $125 per golfer. It will be a 4-person scramble, with team prizes for gross and net, plus lots of fun contests/prizes on many holes for individual golfers, and plenty to imbibe as always. AUGUST 11, WORLD'S LARGEST GOLF OUTING...

Please join us for the The 4th Annual Shep Prostate Cancer Golf Outing to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation on August 29, 2014. The Shep is named after long time attorney and friend of the community, Jim Scheper. Jim passed away from Prostate Cancer one day after the inaugural Prostate Cancer Golf Outing in 2011. His daughter, Lynn Brading promised him on the day he passed that she would continue her efforts in raising awareness and money to fight this deadly disease. Prostate Cancer effects one in six men. All proceeds go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation http://www.pcf.org. To date, we have raised over $50,000! Join us for our 2014 Annual Scholarship Golf Outing! This year's outing has moved to the beautiful Oasis Golf Course in Loveland. Our outing raises money for scholarships for local IT students so it is for a great cause! Registration begins at 8:00am with the Driving Range, Putting Green, and Pro Shop open.
