MAY 9, 2008 LEWIS & CLARK INVITATIONAL
Join us at beautiful Walden Ponds Golf Club and help promote Geography Education by participating in the Second Annual Lewis & Clark Invitational. This event is a two man scramble format and we will be playing from the blue tees so plenty of challenges await you on this beautiful 6,400 yard layout. MAY 10, KINDERVELT 2ND ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT FOR CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

Terrace Park Kindervelt, a non-profit fundraising auxiliary of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, is hosting its second annual Fore the Kids Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 10 at Legendary Run Golf Course. Lunch provided by Chick-fil-A of Anderson, a fantastic golfer gift bag including items from Callaway Golf, a team photo, and dinner by City Barbeque, Inc. Prizes will be awarded for the first three places, in both mens’ and ladies’ divisions. Kindervelt will also host a silent auction prior to and during dinner with items including NBA tickets, Riverbend Music Center tickets, jewelry, spa treatments, and kids’ gifts. Guests are invited to attend the dinner and silent auction. Sign-in and lunch begins at the course at noon with a shotgun start at 1:30. Post-tournament dinner, awards, and a silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m., with activities for arriving guests and golfers as they come off the course. Dinner will be served starting at 6 p.m. at which time the winners will be announced. The cost is $150 per golfer; the format is a Captain’s Choice/ Best Ball Scramble. MAY 10, MORAINE ASSEMBLY VETERAN'S AFFINITY 1ST ANNUAL GOLF SCRAMBLE

Moraine Assembly Veteran's Affinity Group is hosting the first golf outing to raise money to send CARE packages to Troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan in June 2008 to show our support for what they are doing to keep us free. The outing will be held at Locust Hills Golf Course in Springfield, Ohio on May 10, 2008 with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Prizes will be available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place teams. MAY 14  25TH ANNUAL MASON KIWANIS GOLF CLASSIC

Kiwanis Club of Mason, Ohio presents the 25th Annual Golf Classic May 14 on the Grizzly at the Golf Center at Kings Island. Two flights at 7:45am and 1:00pm with a scramble format. Great prizes on selected par three holes. Food and refreshments on the course all day for both flights. Evening festivities start about 6:00pm with a social period, a great sit down dinner, prizes, awards and speaker Dave Lapham former Bengal and currently with WLW Sports. Cost is $125 per golfer. The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) invites you to be a sponsor of the Tim Valerio Golf Memorial to benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN). The area's premier charity golf tournament returns to Shaker Run Golf Club on Sunday, May 18.  More than just a golf tournament though, this unique event includes contests, celebrity guests, live and silent auctions and more.  Nearly 250 golfers will enjoy the festivities and many more will join in for the "Welcome to Our Jungle" post-play party. MAY 19, THOMASTON GOLF CLASSIC AT TPC RIVERS BEND

The fabulous TPC at Rivers Bend is the site of the Thomaston Golf Classic, the proceeds of which provides scholarship funding for the youth of Thomaston Woods, a 100 unit housing complex in Clermont County dedicated to providing affordable housing for low income families. $225 entry fee includes greens fee, cart, lunch, dinner, on course drinks, welcome gift bag, prizes and contests. The Lockland High School Alumni Association will hold it's 2nd annual Golf Scramble on June 14, 2008, at the Aston Oaks Golf Course in North Bend, Ohio. JUNE 16, KELSEY INVITATIONAL TO BEBEFIT CYSTIC FIBROSIS
The 2008 Kelsey Invitational to benefit Cystic Fibrosis will be held June 16, 2008, at the Hidden Valley Lake Golf Club in Lawrencburg, Indiana. The 1:00 tee time is a shotgun start. Cost is $105, which includes golf, cart, player gift bag, dinner, on course contest, and drinks (pop, beer throughout the day). The will a raffle ($5.00 a chance or 3 for $10.00) with many great prizes. All proceeds are donated to the Greater Cincinnati Cystic Fibrosis foundation and Children's Hospital Medical Center. Kelsey is 11 years old and had CF. She fights everyday with this disease. This will be the 11th annual outing. Throughout the years we have raised over $65,000. “I would love to go to college, but I can’t afford it.” Do your part to battle this common statement at this year’s Northern Kentucky Football Officials Association Annual Golf Outing. All proceeds go to the Northern Kentucky Football Officials Sportsmanship Scholarship Fund. The scholarship is given to a student/athlete from one of our member schools. Again this tourney will be played in Ryder cup format.  Six holes each of scramble, alternate shot and low ball.  Play will be at Fairfield Golf Course, with a 7:30 shotgun start.  Cost for the golf, cart, games, and hot pizza at Poor Michaels after the outing is $60.  Games will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for 18 hole total, and also for 6 holes of scramble, alternate shot and low ball totals.  Closest to pin on all five p0ar three holes, and 3 longest drive holes.  Play will be limited to the first 64 teams.  For team entry call Bill Eggers @ 851-8745.  Call early - the day will fill up fast.

"Tee it up for the Troops" This golf outing is supporting one of our own members who is currently deployed in Afghanistan. The cost is $70 before May 16, $75 before June 20, and $80 for late registration. Tournament will be best ball scramble and held at Boone Links GC in Florence, KY and starts at 9am. SEPTEMBER 21-22, MARTY BRENNAMAN GOLF CLASSIC

The fourth annual "Marty Brennaman Golf Classic," benefiting the Reds Community Fund, takes place Sunday and Monday, Sept. 21-22 at Belterra Casino and Resort. Hosted by Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman, the two-day event includes a Sunday night dinner and a concert. There will also be two golf flights - one on Sunday morning and one on Monday morning. Celebrity guests include former and current Reds players and staff, as well as local and national broadcasters and media representatives. A package for four includes the Sunday evening dinner, concert and four hotel rooms at Belterra Casino, Resort and Spa. OCTOBER 6, RHC CELEBRITY GOLF CLASSIC
The 2008 RHC Celebrity Golf Classic will be held on October 6th at the celebrated Kenwood Country Club and features celebrity host NFL Hall of Famer Anthony Muñoz. The RHC Celebrity Golf Classic also includes our on-course “Taste of Cincinnati” which features Cincinnati food favorites. The Celebrity Golf Classic is one of RHC’s largest fundraisers and supports a 45 year tradition of providing residential, educational, family support and related services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.  A foursome includes greens fee, cart, lunch, awards dinner, framed foursome photo, on course drinks, golf merchandise, prizes and contests. Price: $1,000 per foursome. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
