APRIL 25, JOHN AND CATHERINE BAUER MEMORIAL TRUST The family of the deceased John W. Bauer (Father) and John E. Bauer (Brother) invite you to join in a golf outing to support the construction of a family memorial. John W and John E. were both veterans of the armed forces. John W served in WWII and John E served in Vietnam. Outing will be held at White Oak Golf course in Sardinia, OH on April 25th, 2010. Scramble (best ball) format, Shotgun Start at 1 pm. Entry fee is $50 per player ($200 per team) and includes dinner and prizes (SENCO nail gun, homemade apple pie, golf apparel, and several different gift cards). At least 1 hole per 3 will have a prize associated to that hole. These may include closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt, largest slice etc. Outing is limited to the first 128 golfers. MAY 7, LEBANON AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OUTING The Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce is having their annual Golf Outing on May 7, 2010. It will be held at the Heatherwoode Golf Course in Springboro, Ohio. Registration begins at 11:30, lunch is at noon and the shot-gun start is 1:00 with dinner to follow. Mulligan packages will be available during registration. Door prize winners will be determined by a single drawing per prize. Players will place one or more tickets into the glass bowl in front of the prize they wish to win. Participants then may match up their tickets to claim their prize. JUNE 19, BLUE STAR MOTHERS OF AMERICA GOLF OUTING Tournament takes place at Beaver Creek Golf Club, and the proceeds to go the Blue Star Mothers of America – Miami Valley Chapter. Blue Star Mothers support our troops overseas by sending cards, letters, phone cards and care packages. We support our Veterans at the Dayton VA Medical Center for picnics, bingo and Memorial Day weekend activities. We also provide food and clothing to them and our Veterans within our community. We attend funerals of our fallen Heroes. We also provide food and gift items for children of deployed troops at deployment ceremonies and welcoming home gatherings. The cost is $100 per player and includes golf cart, lunch, prizes and much more.
