MAY 10, KINDERVELT 2ND ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT FOR CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL Terrace Park Kindervelt, a non-profit fundraising auxiliary of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, is hosting its second annual Fore the Kids Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 10 at Legendary Run Golf Course. Lunch provided by Chick-fil-A of Anderson, a fantastic golfer gift bag including items from Callaway Golf, a team photo, and dinner by City Barbeque, Inc. Prizes will be awarded for the first three places, in both mens’ and ladies’ divisions. Kindervelt will also host a silent auction prior to and during dinner with items including NBA tickets, Riverbend Music Center tickets, jewelry, spa treatments, and kids’ gifts. Guests are invited to attend the dinner and silent auction. Sign-in and lunch begins at the course at noon with a shotgun start at 1:30. Post-tournament dinner, awards, and a silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m., with activities for arriving guests and golfers as they come off the course. Dinner will be served starting at 6 p.m. at which time the winners will be announced. The cost is $150 per golfer; the format is a Captain’s Choice/ Best Ball Scramble. The cost for dinner and post event activities for additional guests (non-golfers) is $35 per person. Golf registration deadline is Wednesday, May 7; pre-registration for golf is required. Dinner guests can pay at the door. MAY 10, MORAINE ASSEMBLY VETERAN'S AFFINITY 1ST ANNUAL GOLF SCRAMBLE Moraine Assembly Veteran's Affinity Group is hosting the first golf outing to raise money to send CARE packages to Troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan in June 2008 to show our support for what they are doing to keep us free. The outing will be held at Locust Hills Golf Course in Springfield, Ohio on May 10, 2008 with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. Prizes will be available for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place teams. MAY 14 25TH ANNUAL MASON KIWANIS GOLF CLASSIC Kiwanis Club of Mason, Ohio presents the 25th Annual Golf Classic May 14 on the Grizzly at the Golf Center at Kings Island. Two flights at 7:45am and 1:00pm with a scramble format. Great prizes on selected par three holes. Food and refreshments on the course all day for both flights.
