Crooked Tree Golf Course is a beautiful and challenging layout for players of all skill levels. Centrally located in Mason, Ohio, the 18 holes feature plush bent grass tees, fairways, and greens. Modest elevation changes, meandering creeks, beautiful lakes, and mature, tree-lined fairways all add to the charm of this par 71 Denny Acomb design.

With six par 3's and five par 5's, and water in play on 14 holes, this is not just another round of golf. Crooked Tree challenges you with doglegs left, doglegs right, double doglegs, and a number of elevated tee shots. You can play the shorter tees, work on controlling the ball, and playing position shots, or you can play it all the way back and really challenge yourself.

Many of the holes feel like you are on a nature trip as they wind through beautiful tree-lined fairways framed by creeks and lakes. The breathtaking views, superb playing conditions, and first-class customer service make for a quality golf experience.

Just a few minutes from I-275 on the east side of Cincinnati, Legendary Run is one of the most interesting and challenging courses to play in this area. The front nine mimics the design of famous British courses like St. Andrews, Turnberry, and Carnoustie, so it is an open, linksy design.

The back nine mimics the design of famous U.S. courses like Augusta, Pinehurst, and Oakmont, so it is tighter and wooded. You almost feel like you are playing two different courses as you tour a scenic piece of land that overlooks the Ohio River. The score card explains every hole's design and the course it mimics.

And how many courses do you play that have 19 holes? That's right - Legendary Run has a 19th hole, a par 3 over a lake, that gives you a chance to break ties or get even, or just one more shot at that elusive hole-in-one!

They also have a terrific snack bar/restaurant. Many of the week-day green fees offer a free lunch, including some of the best hot dogs and sausages around, and most days they are grilled outside on a real grill.
