We recently had an opportunity to play Walden Ponds golf course on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It was a perfect day for golf and the course didn’t disappoint. When we arrived, the parking lot was full. No surprise on a gorgeous day and no football games being played. We checked in at the pro shop and were met by a friendly young man. He informed us that we were paired up with a couple that plays the course regularly. Again, no surprise on a busy Sunday. They were a friendly couple that were happy to give us some insights on how to...read more
MAJESTIC SPRINGS COURSE REVIEW Majestic Spring Golf Course was rated #9 by Golf Advisor in Ohio and I must say I really enjoyed my round there recently. From booking a tee time to checking in to teeing off, everything went smooth and all the folks working at the course were friendly and helpful. Dave Stanton is the head professional and he greeted us when we arrived. As always, had a big smile and a few words of encouragement. We were a twosome and no surprise we were paired with another twosome on a busy Sunday...read more
A buddy and I took a scenic ride to play Aston Oaks Golf Club situated in North Bend, Ohio on Cinci’s west side. This beautiful layout features a Nicklaus Design and measures 6908 from the longest tees. The facility encompasses the golf club, Pro shop, Driving range as well as a restaurant and banquet facilities. The course is a blend of bent grass fairways as well as rolling greens where golfers can waltz with the terrain to shape their shots. Many of the hole are bordered with stately oaks, lakes and brooks making your round...read more
A.J. Jolly is a classic track that opened in 1962 with gently rolling slopes that provide just enough changes in elevation to make for a fun round without that feeling of battling against the course. For CinciGolfers, this course is well worth the drive. Tucked a little south in Alexandria, it was an easy ride to get there and with their Senior Super Saver priced right! The course was in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens have been well maintained. And even with the recent heat they have taken measures to keep the course playing...read more
Recently, Matt and I had a chance to play Lassing Pointe Golf Course in Northern Kentucky. Rated the #1 course in Kentucky this year by Golfweek Magazine, Lassing Pointe is a true gem that is open to everyone in our area. First impressions are always important to any experience. And this was my first opportunity to play Lassing. As you make your way up the driveway, you are greeted by Cathedral style clubhouse that is well maintained with a nicely stocked pro shop. Friendly personnel check you in and offer any help you might need. We were a...read more

Our thanks to Savio R. for a great review! Sugar Ridge Golf Club is a short 25 minute drive from Cincinnati And is nestled in between the ridges of Indiana and Ohio. The course takes you mentally into a world of nature and beauty. The pro-shop has golf equipment, shoes, balls and tees but it is the management here that treats you like a king. They even call you by your name and truly enjoy having you here. The fairways are etched and chiseled through the ridges abounded by a few lakes and abundant wildlife during your round. This is a round...read more
